This historic building has undergone many changes but was initially built to defend the mainland during the Napoleonic Wars.
The installation consisted of a hand-stitched artist book, a table of archived research material, furniture from the special reserves collection, as well as an additional layer of commissioned work made by invited artists in response to the retelling of research.
Invited artists: Research Artist/Noriko Suzuki-Bosco, Poet/Stephen Boyce and Writer/Roger Bratchell.
